AfterCARE
First of all, thanks so much for your purchase! I hope you'll enjoy it just as much as I've created it. Here are a few tips to ensure you will enjoy your piece formany years to come.
Taxidermy
Any kind of taxidermy artwork including shadow box frames containing remains and mounts should be kept out of direct sunlight to prevent fading and discolouring. Keep your piece damp, dust and dirt free by using a fluffy duster. Always use a feather duster to get rid of dust. Also, try to keep your place as insect free as possible.
Frames and domes
All shadow box /deep box frames containing bones, butterflies or insects should be remained closed as they can introduce moisture. Once opened or taken apart, the artwork could get heavily damaged if doing so. Bones are delicate and even though I secure everything with the best possible glue, taking apart frames has a risk. I also recommend not opening any domes as the contents such as insects are to be kept away from dust and moisture.
